Ana A.

Ana is a constant source of positivity on the team. Her bubbly, engaging personality helps lighten even the most hectic moments, and no matter how chaotic the environment becomes, she consistently maintains an upbeat, can‑do attitude. Ana is always willing to step in and support others, is highly trainable, and eager to learn. She’s often the first to say “yes” when help is needed. A natural leader, Ana’s supportive presence fosters a team environment where everyone feels encouraged and empowered to thrive.

What is your background?
“I was born and raised in Romania, but I lived in Italy for many years. At university, I studied both finance and accounting and worked for a short time at a salon as a massage therapist. I also worked as a babysitter and at a supermarket in the area where I lived in Rome. Because of the passion that living in Italy gave me for food, coffee, cheese, and Italian tradition, I decided to join Eataly two years ago.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“My role changed quite quickly, and now I’m a specialist in the fresh produce department. I arrange the products on the shelves and make sure everything is well-organized and that the products are always of high quality. I also have to place orders for the next day and provide stellar guest hospitality. I am always learning and discovering new things about my job!”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“It’s always important to always be punctual, polite, and eager to learn.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“I love to walk, read, watch good movies, and enjoy the company of close friends over a plate of pasta and a glass of wine. I have also always wanted to become a massage therapist – who knows what will happen! P.S., I also love cats!”
