Ariel H.

Since the opening of Eataly Dallas in 2020, Ariel has experienced and contributed to a variety of departments across the store. She has served tables at our multiple restaurants, leveraged her pastry background in our production kitchen, and stepped in to help the Quick Service Department. Ariel is a true team player who knows how to hit the ground running and lead by example.

Recently, Ariel was promoted to Restaurant Manager at our restaurant, Terra. She is the team’s go-to person for guidance and advice. Always interested in trying new things, Ariel is constantly learning and growing.

What is your favorite memory from your time at Eataly so far?
“Working at our first ‘All You Can Eataly’ event! I went around to different tables to learn about all our producers. We had a pig roasting outside. Everything was decorated so well. There were so many people, there was dancing – it was a big party!”

Have you tried any new foods while working at Eataly?
“Oh, yes! Our lamb skewers, which are one of the best things in the building. Veal. Truffle. Oysters. There are so many things that I had never tasted before, and that I now enjoy.”

Who inspires you?
“My mom. She’s always been my inspiration. She takes everything to the next level and shows me how to always keep moving and improving. There’s nothing she’s not been able to do.”

Outside of Eataly, what do you like to do?
“I love to make pastries and desserts. Cake jars are one of the desserts I make. I like to experiment with flavors like strawberry, banana, and chocolate overload. I also bring in a treat for our team at least once a week. Everyone’s favorite is my banana pudding. The chefs are always asking me, ‘Where’s the banana pudding?’ ”
