Daniele is an integral part of the Eataly Wine Team who is always willing to assist guests throughout the store. His dedication to creating memorable guest experiences fosters lasting connections and encourages guests to return time and again. Throughout his many roles at Eataly, Daniele has demonstrated a genuine passion for hospitality and a deep commitment to sharing the Eataly experience. He takes great pride in representing Eataly Chicago, serving as a knowledgeable ambassador for our brand and setting a strong example through his professionalism, enthusiasm, and willingness to support both guests and fellow Eatalians.

What is your background?
“My father was a pastry chef for 50 years, and his passion for food strongly influenced me. He was always creating a variety of foods, including pasta and gelato, which helped inspire my own love for culinary arts. Food has always been a passion of mine, and working for an Italian company has allowed me to expand my knowledge and appreciation of Italian cuisine.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I joined Eataly Chicago in November 2021 after relocating during the pandemic. My mother is a dual citizen and encouraged me to pursue opportunities in the United States. Working at Eataly makes me feel like I am back in Italy, and it truly feels like a second home. Since joining the company, I have worked hard and grown professionally, starting as a Busser and advancing through different roles within the organization. I enjoy learning about wine and sharing that knowledge with guests to help create memorable dining experiences. My primary responsibility is to provide ensure every guest enjoys one of the best experiences Chicago has to offer.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Build strong relationships with guests and always greet them with a smile. In hospitality, the guest should always be the top priority. It’s important to take pride in working for an Italian company and to appreciate the high-quality products that Eataly offers. By sharing that passion with our guests, we can create memorable experiences and provide exceptional service.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“I enjoy watching soccer and taking walks along the river. I also like to share meals with friends and make the most of good weather. I love to spend time with my nephew and niece. When I was growing up, I dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player, but unfortunately, injuries prevented me from fulfilling that dream.”
