Denia R.

Denia is from León, Nicaragua. Before coming to Eataly, she worked in Nicaragua in a harness factory. Her love of food began during childhood when she would watch her mother cook every day.

In 2022, Denia joined the team at Eataly Silicon Valley as a Pastry Cook. Her desire to learn and her positive attitude have allowed her to thrive. Denia is meticulous and hardworking, paying careful attention to every pastry she makes.

Always willing to help her teammates in any way she can, Denia motivates everyone to continue to learn, improve, and do their best work every day. Thanks to her efforts, our pastry case is full of top-quality products on a daily basis for our guests to enjoy.

What have you learned since joining Eataly?
“Since coming to Eataly, I have learned a lot about working with different types of people. In Nicaragua, I worked in many different fields, but here I have had the opportunity to grow alongside my colleagues.”

How do you work with your team?
“We organize and help each other every step of the way. We know which tasks we can do quickly, and for those that we can’t, we split up the work. When someone can’t do something, others can.”

Who inspires you?
“I’m inspired by my children every day. They are everything to me and motivate me to keep moving and looking forward.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of Eataly?
“I like to go out and explore new places. When I’m home, I love spending time with my children and taking walks in the park together.”
