Falguni consistently brings a positive, can‑do attitude to every shift, always willing to step in, lend a hand, and communicate proactively about anything that could impact service. In her support role, she demonstrates a strong understanding of Eataly as a whole and the flow of service, allowing her to contribute seamlessly and confidently to both the team and the guest experience. She stands out for her comfort with product and her engaging presence tableside, especially when serving our Fettuccine, where she has become both skilled and precise while creating a warm, memorable interaction for guests. Falguni’s excellent work ethic, reliability, and collaborative nature make her a valued team member- someone who strengthens the team dynamic and is always appreciated by those she works alongside.

What is your background?
“I am from the West Coast of India. I studied Dentistry and practiced for nine years. When I moved to Canada, I worked at an Italian meat and grocery business in Thunder Bay. I had an amazing experience learning about food preparations and customer service. I realized the food industry is a thriving business in Canada, and it has lots of potential for growth and expansion. This is why I changed to building a career in hospitality a few years back.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“When I learned about Eataly from a friend, I realized it would be a perfect opportunity to work with Eatalians to learn more about Italian food, enjoy more, and grow more. I joined the Grand Opening Team at Eaton Centre in November 2025. My role is Table Support at La Pizza & La Pasta. I run food and beverages, and it’s important I understand the menu. Since Eataly changes the menu items every few months, I enjoy learning about new dishes and recipes. I also make coffees, serve desserts and set up tables. Since starting, I have learned a lot about teamwork and how structured, organized management works. I really like the dynamicity of my job and how it allows me to constantly meet new people.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Have a positive attitude towards everyone and an urge to learn more.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“I enjoy travelling, dancing, badminton, watching Netflix, and visiting Wonderland. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a pilot.”
