What is your background?
“I grew up in Ternopil, Ukraine. I studied at the Faculty of Translation and Foreign Languages, where I received my Master’s degree. I also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Pedagogical University. During my studies, I developed communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well with different people. In Ukraine, I was a teacher at a private foreign language and early childhood development school. Upon moving to Canada, I worked in sales at a European store. I learned responsibility, flexibility, and strong customer service skills. I was drawn to hospitality because I enjoy working with people, creating positive experiences, and being part of a welcoming environment.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I was looking for a workplace with a team atmosphere and good people, so I chose Eataly! I was also interested in Eataly’s international culture and high standards of service. My role as a Host is to welcome and create the first impression for our guests. I greet them, manage reservations, organize seating, support the restaurant flow and experience. Since joining Eataly, I have become more confident, organized, and stronger in communication and guest service. I enjoy helping people, making them feel comfortable, and working closely with my team. I truly love my job and the people I work with every day!”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Be positive, help your team, and always be kind to guests. Good teamwork, a good attitude, and caring about your work make a big difference. If you work hard and support others, people will notice it.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going for walks, learning new things, and exploring new places. When I was a child, I wanted to become a teacher, and I was happy to work in education in Ukraine before starting my journey in hospitality. I really enjoy working with people and creating a warm atmosphere wherever I am.”
