Jesse was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and began college studying Music. He soon realized he was better suited for a career where he could work with his hands, and decided to switch his focus to construction and the automotive industry. With a passion for operating, repairing, and innovating, Jesse’s career transition allowed him to flourish. In 2021, Jesse joined the team at Eataly Dallas as a Facilities Associate, where his comfort working with machinery and solving problems was evident from the start.

Since starting with Eataly, Jesse has taken initiative to go above and beyond his role by handling direct vendor communications. He consistently approaches his duties with an eye for the financial impact on the store and willingly takes on new responsibilities and challenges. Thanks to his open-mindedness to exploring new roles, Jesse has exponentially increased his knowledge base in the areas of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Jesse’s teammates would describe him as a bright, cheerful, and kind person who is always willing to lend a hand when others need it. Thanks to Jesse’s contributions, our facilities at Eataly run smoothly and unexpected problems are addressed promptly, effectively, and with a sense of humor. We are grateful for all Jesse does!

What has your journey at Eataly been like?
“I love it here, and I love the people that I work with! My journey has been like a roller coaster – there is never a dull moment. It’s always been fun.”

In your own words, what is the job of a Facilities Lead?
“I work with our team and our vendors to ensure that operations run well, that all departments have what they need, and that our machinery is working properly. If there is any broken equipment, I fix it, which I really enjoy doing.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian team member?
“Try your hardest. It will be worth it. The team will see your efforts and help you get to the next level.”

Outside of Eataly, what do you like to do?
“I have a passion for cars and engines. I like to work on my personal vehicles and further my education as an automobile mechanic. I also enjoy going to rock concerts and going camping. I recently bought a camper and can’t wait to use it to take a camping trip around Colorado.”
