He goes above and beyond to learn our menu offerings and understand the current team dynamic, which allows him to make meaningful contributions across the restaurant. Jorge is always willing to assist as a Bar Back and regularly supports and guides his fellow Eatalians to help ensure every guest receives exceptional service. His reliability, initiative, and commitment to maintaining the setup and readiness of multiple restaurant areas contribute significantly to the team’s success. What is your background?
“I was born and raised in Mexico. After moving to the United States, I began working as a server and discovered how much I enjoyed providing quality service to guests. My passion for hospitality led me to join the Eataly team, where I have been proudly working ever since.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I began at Eataly Chicago in July 2021 as a Server at La Pizza & La Pasta. I joined the Eataly team because of its strong reputation within the hospitality industry. My favorite part of the job is interacting with guests and providing high-quality service. It is especially rewarding to know that guests leave satisfied after enjoying a great dining experience.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“As Eatalians, we must always embrace teamwork and maintain a willingness to learn and grow.”

“I enjoy planting in my garden and have a passion for nature.”
