What is your background?
“I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. I then moved to the United States, where I got my foothold in the restaurant industry. I worked at a marketplaces for over 15 years. My story in the industry is one of growth. I like to say that I started at the bottom, and through hard work, earned my place higher and higher. I became a supervisor and loved it, which allowed me to continue growing in my field.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I started at Eataly in October 2025 as a SAFO Artisan. I specifically wanted to join the team because of the opening in the SAFO department. Working with mozzarella and our different Italian products really intrigued me. Because I love learning new skills in the industry, I felt it would be a perfect fit. Over the past months I’ve taken on responsibilities helping out different departments, and I have grown a great deal. Primarily, I work in our mozzarella lab, but I also do a lot of work with our meat and SAFO teams. My favorite part of the role is both helping guests and working on new and different tasks, which I face every day.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“My advice for my fellow Eatalians is to always concentrate on your job and do it the most professional way that you can. It makes everyone’s jobs easier and creates a better experience for our guests.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“Outside of work, I like being with family and spending time in the park walking my dog. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a high school history teacher. I love what I do now, though, and am very happy to be a part of the Eataly team.”
