What is your background?
“I was born in Laurel, Mississippi. I started my career in specialty coffee shops and hospitality. I was trained by a coffee judge from Europe, and from there I was able to work at a 2 Michelin Star Restaurant in DC and run their coffee program for a year. Later, I became the GM of a cafe and then felt the call to come to NYC.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I started on April 7th, 2025 and began as a preliminary hire for Eataly Caffè Rockefeller Center. I came to work at Eataly because when I researched the team who was interviewing me, I saw that all of them had come from within; they all climbed up the ladder. That was very inspiring to me, and it motivated me to perform well. Visiting the store as a customer before I worked here was also a big push. My role has changed a lot – I’ve grown to become comfortable in almost all aspects of being a Lead, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for me. My favorite part of my job is being able to make small changes to operations that add up over time.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“My advice for fellow Eatalians is to be presentable and take ownership. If you see something, say something. If you are naturally good at something, advocate for yourself and show leadership you can do it. The team is always looking out and assessing the key members of the operations.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, watching soccer, and playing soccer video games. Other than that, I like curating my wardrobe and thrifting clothes.”
