Mary is a dedicated Eatalian who takes great pride in her work. She places value on fostering a positive relationship with her team and consistently collaborates with others, always doing so with a smile! Her positive demeanor and tireless work ethic have made her a pillar of the Eataly Caffè Rockefeller Center team. She always ensures that tasks are completed correctly and supports her peers in achieving their goals.

What is your background?
“I am originally from Mexico. Shortly after completing my secondary education, I moved to New York and began working in the food industry. I spent a lot of time working in restaurants as part of preparation and service staffs, which led me to join Eataly.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“In May of 2025, I joined the Eataly Caffè Rockefeller Center team. On a daily basis, I work very closely with our pastry team, which is the most exciting part of the job. I learn so much about Italian pastries every day, from how to make them to their unique origins. It’s fun to work alongside people who take so much pride in what we offer our guests. Our team is very special and motivates me to continue learning and growing in my role.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Without a doubt, you have to love what you do. This way, you not only enjoy yourself, but it becomes so much easier to learn and grow as a professional.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“When I’m at home, I love spending time with my children! It’s the most special part of the day. I also used to dream of becoming a flight attendant, because I always loved the idea of traveling. I love what I do now, too. It lets me enjoy the learning process, and I get to showcase the best of myself every day.”
