Naz has been a key team member of our North American restaurants for over five years. Initially joining Eataly as part of Birreria in Flatiron, he later transitioned to TERRA at Eataly Dallas. Naz then returned to NYC to join the Grand Opening of Eataly SoHo, where he has been ever since.

Always professional and attentive to detail, Naz takes great pride in his work. He arrives on time to every shift with his uniform in spotless condition. His consistent good mood creates a positive atmosphere for the whole team. Naz is reliable and supportive, known to regularly share advice and lend a helping hand. He is a true Eatalian – driving excellence in guest service and inspiring his teammates to do their best every day.

What is your background?
“I am originally from Bangladesh, and I grew up there before moving to the United States. I studied Business Management in college. Before joining Eataly, I worked in a restaurant where I gained experience in customer service and teamwork.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I started working at Eataly in February 2021. I joined because I love food and wanted to work in a place that values quality and culture. I have learned many new skills, improved my communication, and gained more confidence in my work. I currently work as an Expo/Food Runner. My responsibilities include helping kitchen staff, maintaining quality, and supporting my team. My favorite part is interacting with customers and working with a great team.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Stay positive, work hard, and always be willing to learn new things. Teamwork is very important.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“When I was a child, I wanted to be a singer. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and watching movies. I love trying new foods and learning about different cultures.”
