What is your background?
“I’m originally from Cayambe, Ecuador. I moved to New York when I was 12, which truly changed my life. Growing up in a new country wasn’t always easy, but it shaped who I am today. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of hard work. In high school, I discovered my passion for hospitality and graduated with a focus in Hospitality Management in 2012. I began working in restaurants after graduation, which eventually brought me to Eataly.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“When I joined Eataly, I started as a Host. From there, I became a Server, then a Server Lead, and today I am proud to be a Floor Manager at La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly Flatiron. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to support store openings across the United States and Canada. These have been experiences that pushed me to grow, lead, and believe in myself more than ever before. My favorite part of my role is having the ability to make a lasting impact on others. I enjoy teaching, guiding, and showing my team that growth is possible.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“If I can do it, you can too. I started as a Host and never imagined how far I would go, but with dedication and passion, doors kept opening. Success is not just about personal growth, but also about helping others grow along the way.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“When I was in high school, my class took a trip to Eataly. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what it was, but I remember thinking how special it felt. I never imagined that years later, I would return not as a visitor, but as a Floor Manager in the same place.”
