What is your background?
“I am originally from Hubbali, Karnataka in India and grew up in Mumbai. I completed my Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston. Before joining Eataly, my professional background was primarily in supply chain and logistics, where I gained experience in inventory management, demand planning, and operational coordination. In these roles, I focused on optimizing processes and ensuring efficient product flow, which helped me develop strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills that have been highly transferable to the role that I am working in today.”
What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I chose to work at Eataly because of how it combines high-quality food, retail, and hospitality in a unique way that aligns well with my background in supply chain and logistics. Since joining, my role has evolved beyond basic inventory control into a more strategic position within operations. I currently work as an Inventory Control Associate, where my responsibilities include managing stock levels, monitoring product movement, and ensuring inventory accuracy across departments. My favorite part of the job is the cross-functional collaboration. I enjoy working with purchasing, retail, culinary, and operations to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Coordinating across departments to solve inventory challenges, improve processes, and support business goals make the role dynamic and rewarding. It is fulfilling to see how teamwork directly impacts product distribution, cost control, and overall customer experience.”
