What is your background?
“I am originally from Hong Kong. I have a degree in Financial Services but ultimately have chosen hospitality as my career. Driven by my lifelong passion for Italian cuisine, I was eager to join a team where I could deepen my knowledge of authentic regional dishes and world-class wines.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“My Eataly journey began in May 2024 with the opening of Don Mills, where I joined as a Server. Within a year, I was honored to be promoted to Lead Server. Working here has allowed me to grow significantly through increased responsibility and hands-on experience. I’ve learned the value of fostering close professional relationships to keep operations running smoothly and effectively. As a Lead, I oversee floor plan optimization, inventory management, guest recovery, and monitoring daily flow to ensure excellence. I also remain active on the floor to deliver an energetic and attentive guest experience. I find great satisfaction in organization and operational precision, and I enjoy being able to streamline processes and focus on the fine details of guests’ experience. I especially take pride in managing BEOs for large-scale events.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“The key to success is to truly embrace the moment. Like anyone, I have days where the work is challenging or exhausting, but I’ve found that bringing a positive mindset to each shift changes everything. I am constantly motivated by the meaningful connections I make with our regulars and the support of my team. If you focus on providing high-quality service and being a reliable team player, you will walk away every day with positive memories that make the hard work worth it.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“I am a very active person who loves weight training and almost any outdoor activity. I am currently challenging myself by training for my first full marathon. When I’m not running, I love exploring nature – visiting local beaches, hiking in the mountains, or spending time in green spaces. As a child, I wanted to be a psychologist because I have always loved connecting with people and seeing them smile. According to my mother, even as a young child, I would strike up conversations with everyone I met. I was that curious kid running around and exploring the world.”
