What is your background?
“I am from Mexico and grew up in a town called San Juan Colon, Izúcarde Matamoros, Puebla I have worked in kitchens and restaurants for a long time. When I first moved to the United States, I worked as a dishwasher. From there, I grew my understanding of the kitchen and began cooking at higher and higher levels.”

What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I first joined Eataly in May of 2012. I began as a Sous Chef and earned a promotion to become Chef de Cuisine less than two years later. Eataly has given me so much room to grow professionally, and I have found that I enjoy my work more and more. In my role, I am responsible for production for our location. The fundamental foundation for this role is certainly demonstrating discipline, responsibility, and dedication to work.”

What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Take pride in what you do and do it with intent. Initiative and accountability will take you very far.”

What are some fun facts about you?
“Outside of Eataly, I love spending time with my family and my pet, Bruno.”
