What is your background?
“I am originally from Brescia, Italy – a city famous for casoncelli pasta. Growing up in an Italian family like many others, I was surrounded by a warm, food-loving environment, where cooking and shared meals meant the world. In school, I studied Graphic Design and then worked for six years as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager for a restaurant company in the Lake Garda area. Before joining Eataly, I spent eight months as a Host and Assistant Manager at an Italian restaurant in NYC.”
What has your Eataly journey been like?
“I joined Eataly Flatiron in 2023 as Graphic Designer and was excited to take on additional responsibilities when SoHo opened. In May 2024, I transitioned to Corporate and was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer the next year. All of the company’s branded materials – from corporate identity, advertisements, promotional items, menus, or tags – are crafted by our dedicated team with care. I work on all campaign assets and guide my fellow designers on brand guidelines. My main satisfaction comes from seeing my team members enjoy their work.”
What advice do you have for a fellow Eatalian?
“Be genuine, friendly, and have a sense of humor. Also, never start a discussion about whether carbonara needs cream!”
What are some fun facts about you?
“I considered becoming a Florist because, while growing up, my family always had a garden, and I spent my afternoons with my grandma tending to it. I am also a huge fan of pizza and love trying pizzerias across NYC’s five boroughs from historic, coal-fired and classic NY slices to airy Neapolitan and thick Silician, as well as delicious Chicago-style.”
